I am pleased to say that things are slowly getting back to normal. In particular, it is now possible to have appointments for notary work.
So as to minimise time spent in close contact, you should always supply in advance not only the document or documents to be notarised but also good quality scans of you passport or other primary identity document, but also a recent utility bill or similar as proof of your address. If the document to be notarised has been sent by a foreign lawyer then any instructions he has supplied should also be sent. The more preparation in advance of a meeting that can be done the better.
Finally, please note the change of address. This is likely to be permanent. I no longer see clients at Norton Peskett's offices at 18 Church Plain, other than by specific arrangement.
